This was in no way what I expected from this lawyer romance based on the synopsis. If this is what you what you determine as romantic; being an abusive a-hole one moment, a jealous a-hole the next and then an avenging a-hole, who says he wants to be nothing like his father but is spiraling down a rabbit hole of utter bs.This book disgusted me and I am sorry to say I couldn't finish it.....
I normally dont rate book I dont like or finish but maybe change the synopsis to forewarn those who aren't interested in these sort of stories. As it can be seen I am most clearly not!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Wow this book has 3 great romance stories. They were all hot and the male characters were alpha studs. The women characters were strong and fought for what they wanted. I'm not sure which story I liked more, they were all well written. This is definitely a must read book. You won't be disappointed .
The story could of been better if Yvette had some back bone . Especially when father and son fought about her and called her a whore!! She just walked away and went back to him without even letting him have it . No way!!
The story was not that good. There were a lot of errors, grammatical, wrong names from 1 paragraph to the next and names spelled wrong from 1 paragraph to the next. Glad I picked this up for free. Would have been p*ssed if I had actually paid for it!!
This was bad, I stopped reading at 18%
Clear sexual harassment, You don't get to understand the attraction between them, it's suddenly there and he acts on it in the most disgusting way. from there it went downhill.
Yvette graduated from Law school, gets a job at a prestigious law firm. Dylan, not impressed by new hire Yvette, after 1st day was going to fire her, but something about her struck him, there was more, not sure he could resist her, she had, fire, spunk, drive. Dylan was arrogant, hard to work for, sexy, great attorney. Can the two work together, she needs the job, can she put up with him, him with her??? Great story, hard work , determination, love, drive.
There were some really hot scenes in this book and they were super good. The story didn't really do it for me as I found Dylan to be slow to react to certain situations like when Yvette was sent home the morning after. As for Yvette she was very one dimensional. This is a good book if you aren't interested in getting involved with the characters and just want to read a hot tale.
I received an ARC for an honest review. I love anything written by Roxy Sinclaire. I knew I would love this book! It's hot, steamy, off-the-charts sexy, kinda sexist in the beginning. Yvette is a new lawyer hired by Hanson and Associates. She's collating and filing her first week there! Dylan is a playboy lawyer and when he sees Yvette, he wants her. She says this can't be what I went to school for and leaves. Next it looks like Pete Hanson, Dylan's father is taking an interest in Yvette, giving her an office, showing her cases, but Dylan knows how his dad works. Once it becomes apparent what he really wants from Yvette, she leaves the building crying. Dylan finds her outside and takes care of her. Their relationship is complicated. It becomes apparent that Yvette is a smart lawyer. More twists and turns, backstabbing...what a place to work! Great story!
